Im using kubuntu gutsy gibbin

in compiz i have set the number of desktops to 8 x1 and yet 8 desktop tabs
refuse to show on the kicker bar instead one large tab shows.

in order to make it display 8 tabbs you must right click the single tab >
configure desktops > and change the number of desktops to two > apply

after this 16 desktop tabs display. then you must right click again > configure
desktops > and change the number of desktops back to one > apply

8 desktop tabbs will now display
