Summary: Freely Transformable Windows (former Freewins) - Mouse
does not work in Tcl/Tk Windows
           Product: Compiz Fusion
           Version: git 0.6.0 branch
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P3
         Component: Plugins
        AssignedTo: dev at lists.compiz-fusion.org
        ReportedBy: jdb at aon.at

I use openSUSE 10.3 and installed the Compiz-Fusion upgrades from the SUSE
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/cyberorg/openSUSE_10.3/
repository today.

Since then tcl/tk programs don't react at the mouse anymore. The keybord works
fine. Just mouse movements, clicks, hovering etc do nothing anymore. All other
things in the Gnome Desktop still work fine, including the mouse. The same is
with KDE.
For me, only Tcl/Tk Apps show that problem. The cursor seemes not to be
recognized in that apps canvas. The decorations still can be used with the
mouse.

I tried it with TkDesk (still one of my favorites ;-) ) and some Demos from
/usr/share/tcl/iwidgets4.0.1/demos/ that are present on my system. So I think
it would be the same with every other TCL/TK app too.

I found that switching off "Freely Transformable Windows" (former Freewins - I
think) with "Fusion Icon --> Settings Manager" and restarting the TCL/TK
Application solves the Problem.

Before the updade, using "Freewins" did not have this issue.

Thank You!
