I've replicated this bug on Ubuntu 8.04 running compiz 0.7.4, emerald 0.7.2.
and nvidia driver 169.12. Every other refresh of the window title during
thunderbird compose causes decoration to disappear.  In the thunderbird compose
window it is very predictable, in firefox it is less predictable but if I
switch tabs back and forth (which changes the window title) decoration will
disappear at least once within 3-10 swaps.  I've also noticed this behavior
randomly in eclipse which is a java app but I could not replicate in Rythmbox
(a gnome app) where switching tracks changes the window title.  I've searched
high and low for any answers but none have presented.
