Compiz dies with these messages upon enabling Blur Windows plugin

I am using up-to-date version of Compiz from Ubuntu Hardy repository. Today,
when I tried to enable the Blur Windows plugin, Compiz crashed. I can repeat
this 100% of the time.

Attached is the output on terminal starting from the 'compiz --replace' command
to the time when Compiz crashed upon enabling the Blur Windows plugin.

My graphics card is Nvidia 8400GS. I am using the nvidia-glx-new driver version
169.12 from the Nvidia installer.
