Blurry parts clear up whn clicked

I am using the up-to-date version of compiz from Ubuntu Hardy repository. I use
Desktop Cube and Rotate Cube plugins. Today I noticed that after switching
desktops (<alt> <ctrl> <left/right>), some parts of the desktop become blurry.
When I click on the blurry parts, small area around the mouse pointer starts to
clear up.

Attached image somewhat shows how it looks.

My video card is Nvidia 8400GS. I am using the nvidia-glx-new version 169.12
from the Nvidia installer.
