Does it work with other WMs (Metacity, Kwin) with exactly the same X
configuration? There is a 99.999% likelyhood that this is a configuration
problem, especially given the fact that I'm using Twinview with Compiz without
any problems. Attach your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log, please.
Additional question: You're not using Xgl by any chance, right?
