[FusionComm] trouble with window body painting/repainting in fusion on lenny x64

Basically whenever I'm using compiz-fusion windows dont seem to paint
in GNOME (I don't use KDE). Does anybody know of a workaround for
this?

I'm using a macbook (non-pro) and have just upgraded to lenny amd64.
My graphics chipset is the intel GMA 950. I'm using compiz fusion from
the "shameful" repo.

i.e.
http://download.tuxfamily.org/shames/debian-lenny/desktopfx/unstable/

The stable branch has the same problem.

I have also tried using LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 but that didn't fix the problem.
