Dear me. I must say that I feel somewhat embarrassed not to do more from
the project, when all you young whippersnappers seem to have taken up
Linux way later than me...

I started on a doomed to fail attempt at a university study in 1998,
dualling in Physics and Computer Science. Two subjects were mandatory at
my uni at the time, and with Physics being my life-long dream, CS seemed
to be the least of the bothers to side it with (was I ever wrong).
However, Physics was dissapointing, and CS was a dream I never had come
true. Unfortunately, I chose to pursue education elsewhere, as I was too
immature for a uni curriculum.

One of the positive things I took with me from this introduction to CS,
however, was an installation of RedHat 5.0, that pushed MS off of my HDD
forever so far, in a matter of weeks.

Many distros later (yes, I was on (B)LFS for a number of years), I find
myself back at uni, starting my third year in pure CS next week, and
lulled in by the comfortable world of Ubuntu (and a Debian server).

I consider myself well versed in the world of Linux as a whole, but due
to a long lapse into mental illness prior to my second attempt at uni, I
have found myself unable to present myself as a stable enough
contributor to any major project, except for the odd bug report here and
there, and a patch for Linux 2.4, to get my gf's laptop's cardbus
controller working.

I am currently considering making an Ubuntu repo with builds from
official source releases, for people who would be wary of continuously
upgrading to development non-releases, but lack the experience in making
Ubuntu (debian) repos. Treviño: if you are reading, it is me, who has
tried to contact you on Messenger, since you seem to make subversion
packages available. My online handle is "Fjodor", please ping me!

That's about it. As stated, I'm not all that active code-wise, but I do
follow discussions closely...

Best regards,

Sune Mølgaard
