I first tried GNU/Linux around 2002, and Compiz in March 2006, and
started working on it with small patches during the Compiz-Quinnstorm
era, as long as helping with web stuff. I've continued this web work
for Beryl and I'm now part of the Compiz Fusion web team, maintaining
one of the two servers and things like the git repositories.

In real life I am a French student (the exact class is France-specific
and is basically one of the ways to become an engineer), studying
maths, physics and computer science.

Code wise, I'm currently working on Color Filter plugin as a Google
SoC as well, on behalf of Ubuntu as well. I had written several minor
patches or features for Beryl (stretch resize, rotate fun...), and I
am currently maintaining 4 Compiz Fusion plugins (Snap, Cube Caps,
Visual Event and Color Filter)

Technically I used to be a web developer (PHP and that kind of stuff),
but I have been doing a lot more of C and Python than PHP since 2
years. I'm currently trying to acquire sufficient OpenGL and X
knowledge. I'm also interested in composited applications and relative
technologies/framework (pigment, clutter...).

This is the first Free Software project I have participated in as well.

Regards,
Guillaume
