I'm not happy about your decision to leave either, but when you say
one thing and then do another, and in the meanwhile you explicitly
state that you don't care for following common practices on this
mailinglist, you don't gain a lot of respect from me.
If you don't want to leave, then don't, but saying you are leaving
then still posting to the admin list does not add up.

This is an administration list. I do not believe you belong on it if
you don't change your mind on distancing yourself from the project.
You have not done anything significant to help Compiz Fusion get off
the ground, and when you finally got a chance to do something, you
backed out of it. Very disappointing, as I have been one of the few
people who have stood up for you on NUMEROUS occasions, on the lists
and on IRC. Then at the first chance you get, you blow it.
To be frank with you, I an tired of the behavior you demonstrate. I
understand your frustrations, but by letting them get the better of
you and pulling out when you had a chance to contribute, that should
have been beneath you. A few posts on a forum that should have been
shut down months ago only makes things worse.

I don't want you to stop telling them, but tell them along side
everyone else who is not on the admin list. And this is why I am
skeptical of closed lists to begin with; I want everyone to be able to
speak up, and then we can't keep everything behind closed doors.

Then remove yourself, as you SHOULD have done, if you had the balls,
when you "withdrew" from the project. You appear to me as someone with
a lot of wasted potential, because you are too obsessed about god
knows what. Wake up, we're all on the same team, we all have strong
opinions. Some times we all have to live with a situation we're not
entirely happy about, instead of sabotaging it, most of us try to make
the best of it.
While I know that you don't want to sabotage the project, because I
believe you when you say you care a lot for this project, that has
been the effect. I have tried numerous times to explain to you that
while your intentions are good, you achieve nothing with your constant
complaining. Even when I agree with you, you manage to formulate your
concerns in such a hostile way that it is impossible not to object.
Now quit whining about everyone else, about previous decisions and
things you can't do anything about, and either:
A. Remove yourself from the admin list.
or
B. Concentrate on something you can change in the project and get to
work knowing that if you focus on one thing and get that right, then
at least one thing is as you want it to be.
Personally I think you should go for option B.
Seriously Rico, you whine too much. And I'm saying this because I
think you could help. I wouldn't bother replying to you if I thought
you were a hopeless case.
